No-one will ever argue this point with me- my bravehearted boy has guts and determination. Today after a rocky start, Caleb made up his mind and the results were incredible!
This morning saw Caleb quite determined to resist his process as much as he could and then a point of surrender came. He made up his mind that instead of refusing his circumstances it was time to conquer them!
What a life lesson ! I watched as he came to the point of acceptance and surrender. His defiance to the circumstances only created more pain and hardness of heart. It was in letting go of his will and changing his mind to be an overcomer that the victory came. He knew that this would mean hard painful work, but his desire to conquer and succeed emerged and he turned his attention to mastering his circumstance! There was so much power in that moment of surrender- His Garden of Gethseme moment -"not my will but yours O God"
And here the miracle came.......
After only getting up on his legs yesterday which was a gut wretching 15 minute process to take a couple of steps, my boy took a 15 step walk !! You will see that he still has to will himself, but in the midst of it, my cheeky smiling boy still finds something to smile about! Caleb will only mobilise on this hopper at home and for very short distances but this is a huge blessing as we were initially told that he would not be able to independantly mobilise at all!
So Caleb has made had a HUGE brave and courageous day and we both know that God met him right there in that moment! It was still hard work but Caleb simply took a step and God met him there- and of that I have NO doubt!
And now he is exhausted and resting but today he conquered his difficulty and tomorrow can be left to tomorrow!

Man Caleb, you're a real superman!!! You are a true inspiration and cute to boot!!!
Guys you are both so brave. Caleb you have the courage of David when he slayed the Giant. You well and truely slayed your Giant. And mum you did amazing. Allowing Caleb to stand emotionally and spiritually independently. Caleb has really experienced God in his own way personally. I would be so proud. It is a mothers heart to see their child grow to the point that they count 100% on God to see them through life. Caleb has acheived that in just seven years. My son is 21 and I have only just started seeing his own independent growth with God.
Well done to you both.
Love you both
Christine
